Touchdown Hong Kong! #Day1 #WongsGoHongKong #WongKong

No stamp on the passport but an arrival receipt? Wow. I could stay in HK until August 30, 2015! So 3 months! Never knew that πŸ˜†

We are here!! #Groufie with the Wongs as we wait for the luggages and Tommy isn’t looking at the camera. :-p The airport is humongous. I cannot describe how overwhelmed I felt just being there. I was just glad I was with family and not alone. I probably would’ve cried if I was alone.

After much deliberation and time figuring out how to get out of the airport because it was just too big, we finally got a tip from one of the airport staff to take the bus to MongKok instead of taking the cab or even train since it would be too costly. I’m glad we took the bus cos it was so much cheaper and it got us directly nearby the hotel we were to stay in. Bus fare straight to MongKok was HK$33 per adult and HK$16.50 for children under 12.

The girls and I in the far end of the bus. We were wondering how we would know when to go down the bus, but thankfully, the bus has a digital sign right in front of the bus where the bus driver is seated that shows what the next stop would be. So efficient and helpful! So no problem knowing when to get down the bus! It was after getting down from the bus, we had to discover and find out how to get to the Royal Plaza Hotel. Signboards were everywhere so that helped us very much too. We just had to find the footbridge that connects most part of the MongKok streets and here we are!

Walking through the Moko Mall, we managed to get to our hotel! Behind us, the sign that says Royal Plaza Hotel! 帝京酒店.

The photo above was taken after we had gone out of the hotel room. This is what the hotel looks like from outside!

Frankly, I was quite surprised that the hotel looked really good! I wasn’t expecting that we were gonna stay at some 5 star hotel and this was really a nice surprise!
