Lord I Run to You – Tommy Walker (2004)

Lord I run to You, No one else will do
Lord in troubled times, I will run straight to You
Though my heart and flesh may fail
You’re my very present help
My tower of strength
My portion evermore

Lord I run to You
No one else will do
Lord You said we’d face trouble pain and fears
But to be of good cheer be of good cheer
For You have overcome overcome the world

I lift my eyes up to the mountains
Where does my help come from
It comes from You Lord
You are the Maker of earth and Heaven
And there is nothing that’s too hard for You

“I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.”

‭‭Psalm‬ ‭121:1-2‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Such a beautiful song indeed that speaks from the heart and truly everyone can relate to this.. I have been listening to this song for a whole week now, I had to study the song for the upcoming Big Tent event and came to realize how beautifully written this song is, from the words, to the musical arrangement. Amazing~~

It was a song that was too beautiful not to share with others, and that was exactly what I did today. Sent a short message of love to all the girls in my vgroup, Ate Imee, Belle, Jhwen, Margy, Divine and Mincy:-

Morning sisters! Just want to let you all know how much I appreciate all of you being part of my life, meeting all of you is truly a divine appointment from the Lord. I want to encourage all of you this morning, that if you are in any trouble or stress with whatever that is going on in your life, I may not be aware of it, and I may not always be there for you, but we can be assured that our God Almighty is there with you. If you have the time, do listen to Tommy Walker’s “Lord I run to you” song. I have been listening to it all week and it always gives me peace in my heart knowing that we have a great God and heavenly Father who is always with us in times of trouble. John 16:33, Psalm 121:1,2, Psalm 46:1. I love you all sisters, if you need any prayer request, I’m just a text message away.. God bless and have a great weekend!
