Dinner and bonding with my favorite girls! #itsmorefuninavictorygroup @keribelles Jhwen and Margy on the way!

Belle suggested that we have our dinner bonding at this Swagat Indian Cuisine place along Rada Street. We got there around 6:30pm, its a small cozy place that doesn’t look very expensive from the outside, but once you see the food served on the table, you’d understand why its really luxury in disguise.

Since it was our first time, we didn’t know what to order, so we depended entirely on what the waitress suggested. What their best sellers were, and what the menu descriptions were. I ordered 4 dishes for sharing, biryani rice, chicken dish, mutton dish and a vegetable ball dish. Then a side order of Rotis and Naan breads.

The Cheese Naan!

Since all the dishes were drowned with sauce and spices, there weren’t many variant colors of food but just orange and red. When we placed the order for the dishes, the waitress did ask us if we’d like it mild, medium spicy or very spicy. We went with a safe “medium spicy” and the dishes did live up to the spiciness level as they described.

All in all, I was satisfied with the ambience of the place, the food tasted pretty authentic, and service was not too bad. I must say though that the food were rather costly as each serving ranged between 150-200 pesos, and is rather small. So that becomes quite costly.

Had a good time with the girls just catching up and talked about moth. I know God wants to bring us closer as a spiritual family and this is one of the times where we truly talk openly and be accountable to one another in making sure we all walk a spiritual and God-pleasing life. Thank you Father for these wonderful sisters ^_^

Dinner with aunty Tiok Hua and relatives!

Had a really early dinner tonight at Mu Noodle Bar in Glorietta 2. It was one of those places where I kept passing by and said to myself that I have got to try this out! And waddyanaw? I didn’t even choose to go to this place tonight and there I was, a happy coincidence!

Met up with aunty Tiok Hua and her Filipino relatives, her niece Lucy and her niece-in-law Carmi Sio. Aunty Tiok Hua was in Manila for a Conference organized by CCF and its been a few times we kept telling each other we should meet up when she drops by but we never manage to. And today we did!

Right after work, we agreed to meet up at Krispy Kreme in Glorietta 4 and then she said we’d have some tea. Lucy and Carmi were quick to decide to head on to this Mu Noodle Bar!

The price is average to high cost for my personal opinion, but the serving for the price wasn’t so bad.

I ordered the Char Siu Pork noodles, and it was served with an egg which was mainly the reason I chose it. It cost about 240 pesos and surely good for 2 person who eat just about the right amount.

It was a simple and short time of catching up and also meeting new people, Lucy and Carmi. I was blessed by Aunty Tiok Hua to give me that dinner treat and even gave me a book as a gift!

So blessed and thankful for having wonderful spiritual family like Aunty Tiok Hua whom I have known for years since my childhood days. ^_^
