I figured if I typed in my age, it doesn’t look as bad as it is in numbers, 27.

So yea, I’m 27 already. Since I’m born near the end of the year, it goes to show that I only get to be 27 for another less than 2 months before the new year comes and I am un-officially 28. =_=’

So, what did I do on my such glorious day? Nothing much. As I grow older, I really do find that partying to enjoy my birthday is no longer my agenda. Last night, at the strike of midnight, I was just online, browsing through FB, and had received some wishes already from some friends and my mom called me over the phone at midnight, wishing me happy birthday.

Then I continued on my marathon on Prison Break Season 2. And finally decided I should sleep by 4am, though I wasn’t sleepy yet. So took a while to actually fall asleep.

Awoke by 12pm, got out of the house by 2pm, went out to MOA, had lunch at Mongkok again, and then jalan-jalan around the mall, shopped a bit.

Took some picture around the mall with the Cmas decos, its the time of the year again. Lots of decos and glitters..

Also took a pic of the globe thingy at MOA which had digital ads on it going around and around. Kewl!

Then home.. that was it.. that was how my 27 year old birthday was celebrated. No cake, no candle blown out. I actually did get a cake but it was much earlier than expected, was from the office though, but its good that I had at least two cakes, but yea, no candles though. Simple.

So i found out my ex and his gf (who’s also my friend’s ex and a mutual friend of my ex) are already engaged and getting married. How I found out? The awesome Facebook of course. And check what she has to say about her engagement.

So he’s gonna marry someone who can’t even appreciate 99 roses that he had surprised her and proposed to her with. =_=”

Oh well. All the best in the years to come that he has to live with that comment.

I never realised how bad typhoons can get here in Luzon..

And I think I kind of escaped death maybe just a little bit yesterday.. i almost felt like it was gonna be my end.. 0_O”  The jeep was backing up and it almost went into a manhole! I was already playing my escape plan in my head over and over again!!

Had to walk through water that was already above my knees.. and got to work an hour and a half late.. its impossible here.. I never experienced having to walk through flooded areas and this was an eye opener.. Prolly if I wasn’t so worried about getting to work late I could’ve enjoyed walking through the flood better!

So the H1N1 season is not really over right?

My company gave all staff a free shot of the flu vaccine cos of that epidemic..

And boy was I fooled! I thought that all my stupid flu worries would be gone! I thought that I would never need to buy anymore tissues to fill my snots in!!

Sheesh..

I caught the flu bug.. the common cold types.. not the h1n1 ok….

So, stocked me up with lots of water, bioflu, vitamin c, strepsils, and most importantly,

TISSUE.

So its my second week in the new department. I must say this place is much more complicated than where I was used to be comfortable in.

The new department involved more operational tasks, and customer market range is wide.

I guess I’m just not used to being a bit more “busy” unlike before. However, despite being busy and shit, I still do get off work on time though. Cos I really can’t bring myself to staying more than 9 hours already in the office. Because after that, I would have less than 5 hours for “papam’s time” before I have to go back to work again… (excluding my sleeping time of 8 hours!)

So sometimes I really do wish the human body does not need to sleep and that would leave us more time to ourselves just to relax but not REST COMPLETELY!

Sheesh~~

I feel kinda embarressed about leaving work on time everyday when others on my same shift still stays there for a few more hours for don’t know whatever reason!

I mean, there’s a reason for shift change, there’s a reason there’s more people on shift, so that tasks can be distributed and people can leave work on time.

I guess some people just likes to hog all the work to themselves and then take credit for it!

Just because they do more work doesn’t mean others arent doing any?!!

They just never gave the newbies chance to do so! Its like they don’t trust us newbies!!

So fuck it! I’ll leave work on time cos I aint got nothing to do anyway! Everybody else thinks we’re uncapable to do nothing! TSK!!!

So as mentioned on my previous “changes” going on in the office, a few have decided that this “change” isn’t really for them.

So we went out for a nice farewell dinner at Little Tokyo.

The bunch of us that just got there. Little Tokyo is like a small garden surrounded by small Japanese restos. Not big though, but nice scene. I’d like to go there again during day time to get a nice garden picture.

The resto we ended up choosing out of the  group of restos there is the Niku Niko Tei resto.

And we decided to move to a larger setting inside a room, like a VIP room thing. I think there were 13 of us all in all.

I had my favourite “Chirashi” sushi. But the rice serving was way too much and too little raw meat.

I must say the food wasn’t fabulous. But it was surely PRICEY!!

The raw meat were fresh, just too little for me to enjoy it. Its definitely not VALUE FOR MONEY.

Well, here’s cheers to “July”, my colleague that is leaving us. I have to say, that we had our differences, our rifts, but we were able to overcome that, and go beyond ourselves, and remained peaceful.

So I am officially transferred to another department today.

Doesn’t feel any different as I still work in the same working space. Still work with the same group of people. Probably slightly different working “culture” I suppose.

I don’t know if I am really looking forward to this change again. Well, lets just say, I’m getting used to all these changes. I just take it a step at a day.

Life still feels stagnant though.

Sigh~

Its just one of those days again where I wake up on the wrong side of the bed.

Nothing feels right,
my body ached,
I felt weak,
I felt warm,
My stomach was twisting,
it was just ALL WRONG…

And its those depressing days that it ends up raining while you’re waiting under the rain, tryin so hard to catch a cab, and then you just feel like why? Why does this have to be me?

Today was one of those days.

I feel so useless, I feel like I have no objective in life.

I feel like the most pitiful person, or maybe pathetic. I just didn’t have that motivation to stay alive.

I thought to myself, why couldn’t have I been born taller?

Why couldn’t have I been a famous celebrity?

Why couldn’t have I been richer?

Instead I’m here. Stuck in a stupid, no-future job.

Stuck in dead end relationships.

Stuck in under developed countries.

Stuck in unexciting environments.

Just STUCK.

I need to be re-born.

So its been 4 days of Graveyard shift.

And things in the office are just so-so. I’m starting to feel indifferent. There are more changes to come.

So by 2nd July, I’d be on a special shift rotation not like my other peers. Instead, I’d be on the same shift with my subordinates.

Though the shift time is pretty ideal to most people, I find nothing special about the changes except that it just might play into ’some’ people’s advantage.

Aaaaaanyway, its my day off today. And after coming from from work, despite being sleepy, I thought I should savor the day off and went ahead to MOA to catch “TRANSFORMERS II – REVENGE OF THE FALLEN”

It was ok, I mean, it didn’t felt as awesome as it did for part I, and there were lots of shooting scenes from the soldiers which I find kinda boring, the fight scenes of the autobots were cool tho.

And the movie was actually longer than most movies, about 2 and half hours. I am glad that I didn’t fall asleep in the cinema tho. Seeing that it was the IMAX THEATERS!

Too bad it wasn’t the 3D version though. But it was good enough. Surely gonna have a go with Harry Potter Half Blooded Prince at the IMAX again.

Now back to work..

So my vacation comes to an end. Sadly.

So I ended up spending the day just sleeping, since I was still trying to adjust the body clock to get ready for work.

Woke up around 5pm, and for dinner, decided to go to Shakeys for dinner on my last day of freedom.

Shakeys pizza was fine. Ordered the thin crust pizza, Hawaian and “Manager” pizza. Some salads, and potatoes with fried chicken.

Yummy!!!

After all that heavy dinner, just spent time watching dvds again.

Watched “TAKEN”, “CRANK” and “CRANK 2″.

I must say that the “TAKEN” movie, with its title, I thought it was gonna be just a normal plain boring movie, I was so wrong.

The movie was awesome!! I don’t mind watching it again!!

“Crank” was alright as well, lots of tits and ass, lots of running, lots of adrenalin. Has a comic twist to the picture.

Well, the similarities between these two movies is that it was all a one man show.

Ok.
