Had this for dinner just then..

Grilled fish! Don’t know whats the fish called, but its got red scales on it.. I remember having this back in the days when my grandma used to grill them at my old house atop the hills. I haven’t had this in ages!!
.
.
.
So when I saw it being sold at this little kopitiam down at Api-Api Centre, it quickly caught me on my tracks and I just HAD TO get hold of those fish and remind myself of the old days..
.
.
.
It cost me RM 1.50 for EACH fish.. not too bad I should say.. 2 pcs of it should be enough. I was being greedy so I got 3..
.
.

.
.
And the way to eat this fish is with the Kicap (soy sauce) and squeezed in some Limau Kasturi (don’t know what you call this in English but its some sort of sweet lime?)

Malay Soto (Its the rice noodles in soup with some beef) RM 3.50 – Doesn’t look very good in pic but it tastes alright..
.

.

.
Nasi Goreng Cina RM 5.00 (Chinese style fried rice – cooked in a Malay shop! And tastes pretty good for a Malay cooking Chinese food!)
.
.
.
Lastly, this is called Lechon Kawali (its actually deep fried Pork) RM 6.00 (Kinda pricey for the serving size, comes with a soy sauce of its own too)
