If I didn’t have a square jaw (which makes me look so masculine and fat in certain angles
), I’d love to have these styles on me..

So the past weekend, I went for a hair cut and hair color at ITALY~~ (local wan laaa
)
.

.
Thats the business card I got from the place a while back. I forgot to take a photo of the place itself as I was too excited to get my hair done, I went in, saw the boss, and quickly exchanged conversation about what I had in mind, and then I pointed out to a lady that just left the place and told the boss I wanted that color on my hair. It was rather impromptu that I simply saw the lady and pointed out that it was something like that which I had in mind. So anyway, the boss gave me a brief idea what color he could fix me up with, and asked for my budget options, and of course, being such a frugal, I just picked the cheapest “Trainee A” option.
If you ask me whether I am afraid of getting my hair screwed by a trainee, nope. I’m willing to take the risk cos its just hair anyway. Especially like mine, it grows pretty fast.. after just 2 months, whatever style I had would most likely grow out of shape by then. I’ve had a fair share of screwed up hairstyles throughout my life thus far. I even had times where I just had a cut today and the next day another cut cos I didn’t like the previous one!
Sooooo… since I went alone to the salon, I didn’t have an extra pair of hands to take a good BEFORE pic of my hair, so I just quickly took a few shots, which wasn’t very precise and I felt kinda silly taking pics of myself alone there with so many other people looking around..

I did get sort of nervous when I saw the lady that was gonna cut my hair tho..
Cos she looked really young and the way she was working with my hair, she really showed no confidence.. and when she was almost done with it, she even asked me whether it was good enough! I mean, ya u could ask my opinion, but I thought you as a hairstylist would know better! Anyway.. the big boss came around so I asked his opinion and he said it was good enough. So. phew!

Then the coloring session came on, the camera battery died halfway through so I didn’t manage to take any photos of me being wrapped in stingy hair dye with plastic gladwrap on my head
. I was actually impatient throughout the wait.. shaking my legs relentlessly and I just couldn’t wait to get it done and over with!
And thus, after 3 and a half hour’s wait, the final product…

Some reviews since that day,
some friends that saw it right after it was made thought the color was really cool and funky.
My mum saw it and said I looked like hookers..
Chong saw it two days after and said the color didn’t suit my skin tone..
And other people like my sister and other colleagues didn’t even noticed I did anything with my hair
All in all.. I’d say this time it wasn’t 100% perfect like last June when I went to ITALY’s .. but I guess I’m alright with it.. I just needed to do something about my hair.. Its what I usually do anyway when I get stressed out.. Throw it out on my own hair!!
It cost me RM 50.00 for the hair color, and RM 8.00 for the cut. Rather cheap ain’t it??
May not be perfect but hey, its the price u pay for the quality’s worth. But I think I’d rather have that and be prepared for it, rather than to pay for something “supposedly” quality, and yet be disappointed after that..
So here’s me being a lil vain with the camera and my new hair

I know.. it wasn’t very obvious cos of the yellow lighting!
